Description
The flyer folds at the hips and hangs with relaxed spine and neck, supported by the base’s feet on their hips. It provides a gentle traction for the spine and a restful experience for the flyer.
Prerequisites
Basic trust with partner Ability to relax in supported positions No contraindications for gentle inversion
Step-by-Step Instructions
For the Base:
Lie on back with legs in L-base position
Place feet on flyer’s hip creases
Support flyer’s hands as they fold forward
Slowly straighten legs to take flyer’s weight
Hold steady and allow flyer to relax
For the Flyer
Stand at base’s feet, facing away
Allow base to place feet on hip creases
Fold forward at hips as base lifts
Let arms and head hang relaxed
Breathe deeply and let spine release
